St. James is located at 3207 Montana Avenue (SW corner of Montana and Cheviot Aves.), across the street from the Gamble-Nippert YMCA.
Masks are currently optional. If you are not comfortable attending in person, our services are also streamed on Facebook live. Either way, we hope you will join us!
10 a.m. – Holy Eucharist, In-person and also on Facebook Live. Professional childcare provided.
12 p.m. – Eucharist with healing prayers (In-person)
9 p.m. – Compline on Facebook Live (online only)
Palm/Passion Sunday – March 24
10 a.m.: Blessing of Palms, Eucharist, and reading of Mark’s Passion Gospel. (In-person & Facebook Live)
7 p.m.: Women of the Passion: The Stations of the Cross told through the voices of women who surrounded Jesus. Meal at 6 p.m. Child-care provided. (In-person & Facebook Live)
Wednesday in Holy Week – March 27
12 p.m.: Healing Liturgy & Eucharist (In-person)
Maundy Thursday – March 28
7 p.m.: Service at Westwood United Methodist Church with other Westside Churches United congregations.
Good Friday – March 29
12 p.m.: Good Friday Liturgy with Sermon and Communion (In-person & Facebook Live)
3 p.m. Outdoor Stations of the Cross Procession (Begins & ends at Westwood United Methodist)
Holy Saturday – March 30
9 a.m.: Holy Saturday Liturgy. (In-person)
Easter Eve – March 30
8 p.m.: Easter Vigil: A celebration featuring fire, stories, water, and the first Eucharist of Easter. (In-person)
Easter Sunday – March 31
10 a.m.: Festive Holy Eucharist with Brass Quintet and Choir. Easter egg hunt following service. (In-person and Facebook Live)
